Menstruation

Question: I was wondering is it normal if you have blood clots when you are on your period? I have my tubes tied for 11 yrs now. I have been cloting now for the last 6 or 7 mos. I have no lower pain and I feel fine. What do you suggest to me?

Answer: Passing clots can be a sign of heavy bleeding as can bleeding more than 7 days, using double protection, soiling your clothes or having anemia. If you are not anemic or having problems, you might be alright, but you should be seen to make sure there aren’t any other causes for the change in flow.
